Our respiratory team – board-certified pulmonologists, licensed respiratory-care practitioners, skilled nurses and therapists – provides diagnosis, treatment, including surgery, and rehabilitation. Our broad expertise includes asthma and COPD, as well as pneumonia, blood clotting and blockage of the pulmonary artery, smoking-related conditions and inflammatory lung disease.

We have the largest medical floor in the state dedicated to the care of patients with lung disease. All of our rooms are private. Visitors are welcome 24 hours a day, and rooming-in arrangements are available for family members.

When you’re ready to leave the hospital, we’ll help plan for ongoing care. Case managers and respiratory care practitioners will arrange for home care services, including home oxygen and other medical equipment, and explore long-term care options.

To help you understand your condition and have the best chance for a full recovery, we emphasize rehabilitation and education. Our respiratory therapists and patient educator provide in-depth teaching, and our resource learning center offers printed materials and videos.
