Fight diabetes with knowledge

While detection and medical treatments are two of the most important steps in providing care for diabetes, we believe that knowledge is the most powerful prescription for reducing the complications of this disease.

Novant Health Maya Angelou Women's Health & Wellness Center's Diabetes and Endocrinology department assists people with diabetes management and nutrition education.

Our programs are recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting the national standards of diabetes self-management training. Visit the American Diabetes Association Web site for more information.
