A department of Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, Novant Health Imaging University City offers you access to advanced imaging tools so you and the providers involved in your care can get the best picture of your health. Whether you need to investigate a health concern, complete a screening to preserve future health or determine how well a treatment plan is working, imaging can give you the information you need to make informed decisions about your care. We are located just off of West W.T. Harris Boulevard near Mallard Creek Road. We are easily reached from Interstate 85, and close to northeast Charlotte, UNC-Charlotte and Concord.

Our Services

Novant Health Imaging University City aims to not only get you the imaging services you need, but also offer information before and during those procedures to make you comfortable with the care you receive. Services we offer include:

  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Computer-assisted tomography (CT)
  • Ultrasound
  • X-ray
  • Screening mammography
  • DEXA bone density scans

Appointments

Scheduling your visit

You do not need a provider’s order for a screening mammogram. You can schedule a screening mammogram online, or call 704-384-7226.

If you would like to complete any other imaging service in our imaging center, have a provider involved in your care order the needed service. A scheduler will contact you once we receive that order, or you can call our scheduling team directly to schedule.

No appointment is needed for X-ray services. You can get those on a first come, first served basis Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Screening mammogram patients using MyChart can eCheck In prior to your visit. You can also complete a breast history form on MyChart.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment time.

What to bring

  • Your photo ID
  • Your insurance card
  • Your method of copayment or payment in full
  • Any requisition/imaging order form you have received from your provider
