Multidisciplinary cancer conferences and clinics
Two to three times a week, a team of cancer specialists meets at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center for multidisciplinary tumor conferences and clinics. During their meetings, they discuss difficult cancer cases. Those who participate may include medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, cancer surgeons, radiologists and pathologists. These specialists work together to decide on the best treatment options for you. The most up-to-date clinical data are considered in developing the treatment plan.
