On March 28 at 7 a.m., all Novant Health facilities will lift universal masking requirements for patients, visitors and team members. As encouraged during the COVID-19 pandemic and flu season, everyone should consider their personal risk when considering masking. Patients may request their care teams wear masks during treatment and clinic visits.
BOLIVIA, N.C. – Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center will host a free community baby shower on Saturday, April 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. The shower will be held in the parking lot of Brunswick Medical Center, where clothing, diapers, toys, toiletries and more will be distributed. There will also be information on breastfeeding and car seat safety checks.
MOUNT AIRY, N.C. – To improve access to care for patients suffering with chronic back pain, Novant Health opened a new spine clinic at 865 Westlake Drive in Mount Airy on March 15. The goal of the new clinic, Novant Health Spine Specialists - Mount Airy, is to provide the latest in nonoperative pain relief therapies and surgical treatment options to help patients improve function and return to their daily activities. The clinic will treat a wide range of back pain issues, including spinal fractures, tumors, infections and other conditions such as scoliosis that can cause severe pain and limit mobility.
CHARLOTTE, N.C., – Today, Novant Health opened a new pediatrics after-hours clinic in Charlotte. Novant Health Pediatrics After Hours Care - Carmel, is designed to provide a more convenient and cost-effective option for families that need care, but don’t require emergency services. The clinic, which is located inside of Novant Health Pediatric Multispecialty Clinic at 6331 Carmel Road Suite 102, in Charlotte, will provide scheduled appointments Monday through Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., and on weekends from noon to 8 p.m.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Expanding on their longstanding alliance, Novant Health and the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina have formed a strategic partnership to encompass the Y’s 17 branch locations across Alexander, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Wilkes and Yadkin counties. Guided by the local Community Health Needs Assessments, the organizations will expand wellness programming, support youth sports, and establish physical and telehealth clinic locations to create integrated healthcare access for the region.
