Community Health Needs

Engaging our communities.

Novant Health established comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessments for the primary and secondary service areas of Novant Health hospitals. These assessments are a productive and meaningful way to engage the community in our strategic community benefit planning process. The goals of these assessments are to identify and evaluate the health related needs of our communities so that we can continue to provide remarkable care to every patient, every time.

The board of trustees at individual Novant Health hospitals approved each of the respective community benefit implementation plans. Novant Health's Executive Team, Board of Trustees and hospital leadership team monitor and evaluate performance. Novant Health strives to improve the health of our communities one person at a time through effective community benefit implementation planning.
