RemarkableYou Screenings: Our RemarkableYou program (ages 18 and over) offers no-cost blood pressure, cholesterol, and pre-diabetes (BMI, waist circumference, glucose, A1C, triglycerides) checks, helping community members know their numbers to prevent serious health events and increase access to healthcare services. These screenings aim to serve those who are uninsured, underinsured, have no primary care physician or medical home, and those who have undiagnosed prediabetes or diabetes.

Childhood Immunizations: Our flagship Hemby mobile unit provides vaccines to children from newborn to 18 who are uninsured, underinsured, or Medicaid eligible in greater Charlotte. Those with full insurance coverage should continue to see their primary care physician.

To help reduce extended wait times, please send a copy of your child’s immunization records to CommunityCruiser@NovantHealth.org before your appointment.  

Community Health Education: Our program provides learning experiences on health and special interest topics, based community needs, led by certified health educators.

Diabetes Education Prevention Program Session (DEEP): The diabetes self-management program is designed to help participants gain knowledge and skills to facilitate short- and long-term behavioral change related to pre-diabetes and diabetes diagnosis.

Childhood Immunizations: For eligible participants from newborn to age 18, the cruiser will help meet the needs of children who are uninsured or underinsured. Those with full insurance coverage should continue to see their primary care physician.

Community Health Education: Our program provides learning experiences on health and special interest topics, based community needs, led by certified health educators.

Mental Health First Aid Sessions (MHFA): The sessions teach you how to assist and support others who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.
