Should I schedule a sick visit?
You would usually visit a physician for a sick visit for any new symptoms, worsening symptoms of an existing health condition or a minor injury. During your visit, the physician will discuss your medical history and examine you to help identify the cause of your symptoms and plan treatment, so it’s important that you describe your symptoms and how long you have had them in as much detail as possible.
Some common reasons to schedule a sick visit for an adult or child are:
- Cold and flu
- Rashes
- Pneumonia
- Minor Injuries such as cuts or scrapes
- Ear infections
- Urinary tract infection
- Asthma attack
- Allergic reactions
