Your presence is an important part of the recovery process because you provide the comfort and support of home.

Presbyterian Medical Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Information desks are located inside the main and north wing lobbies. If you need a patient’s room number, or a map to find a particular area within the hospital, our courteous staff can assist you.
Calling Presbyterian Medical Center
You can locate a patient or a visitor by calling 704-384-4000. This number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To protect patient confidentiality, operators do not report patients' conditions. They may, however, transfer calls to a nurse's station or a patient's room.

Novant Health Hemby Children's Hospital
Parents and grandparents: Open
General visiting: noon to 8:30 p.m.
Novant Health Women's Center
Open visitation with the exception of 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. There is a limit of two visitors per patient at the bedside. The women’s center also observes quiet time from 2 to 3:30 p.m. every day. During quiet time, visitors are asked to wait in our lobby to give mom and baby a chance to rest.
Family Maternity Center
Fathers, grandparents: Open
All other general visiting: noon to 8:30 p.m.
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Open visitation for immediate family members age 18 and older only.
Intensive and Coronary Care
Open visitation with the exception of 6 to 8 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Limited to two or three family members per patient at the bedside.
Neurological Intensive Care
Two family members may visit for 15 minutes at a time between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Two family members may visit for 15 minutes at a time:
10 to 10:15 a.m.; 1 to 1:15 p.m.; 4 to 4:15 p.m.; 6 to 6:15 p.m.; 9 to 9:15 p.m.
Adult: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 6 to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Two family members may visit at a time. Times are subject to change.
Adolescents and pre-adolescents (immediate family):
Monday through Friday 6 to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 1 to 2 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.
All Spice Cafe: Our retail cafe, located on the north wing lobby first floor, offers a full-range of food options from the grill, deli, hot entrees, pizzas, sushi and grab n' go offerings. The All Spice Café offers breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m., lunch from 11 to 4 p.m. (hot line closes at 2:30 p.m.) and dinner / evening service from 4:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Outtakes coffee shop:
Offers a full-range of freshly brewed coffee and espresso-based beverages and grab n' go offerings. Located on the first floor near the courtyard elevators. Outtakes coffee shop is open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Located on the first floor near the main lobby, our gift shop offers a variety of flowers, balloons, greeting cards, candy, gifts, baby items and toiletries. For your convenience, the gift shop can deliver flowers, balloons and gifts. Orders must be placed during the gift shop’s business hours; delivery generally takes place within an hour.
The gift shop is open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. For more information or to place an order for delivery to a patient at Presbyterian Medical Center, call 704-384-4075.
Sending patient mail and flowers
When sending a patient mail or flowers, please add the patient’s name to the corresponding hospital address. Our mail room staff will locate the patient’s room number from the hospital database. Mail received after a patient’s discharge will be forwarded to the patient’s home.

A Woman's View boutique
This specialty boutique is located inside the Novant Health Women's Center and offers a variety of unique gifts for mom and baby as well as an assortment of spa products.
A Woman's View is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule a bra-fitting, order flower or balloon bouquets, or to inquire about any of our specialty gifts, please call 704-384-4090.
For your convenience, automated teller machines (ATMs) are located on the 1st floor of our hospital.
