We’ve been caring for our neighbors for more than 70 years, providing expert care and a personalized experience to area residents. Originally operating as Pender Memorial Hospital, in 1999 New Hanover Regional Medical Center began managing our facility.
Since 2001, we have invested $20 million in capital projects, including renovations, facility improvements, and major investments in team members and hospital operations to bring you the best possible care close to home.
In 2021, Novant Health’s partnership with New Hanover Regional Medical Center included Pender Memorial Hospital, now called Novant Health Pender Medical Center. This change provides you with greater access to expert specialty care from shared Novant Health physicians in Wilmington.
