The Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital offers comprehensive services for all stages of pregnancy and beyond. Whether you need additional care during pregnancy or when it’s time to welcome your baby, we are here every step of the way. Our focus is on you and your family, helping to keep you and your baby healthy and making your birth experience comfortable and safe.

Midwifery services

Some expectant families choose a nurse-midwife to provide care for them during pregnancy, labor and delivery. Nurse-midwives with Novant Health Coastal OB/GYN & Midwifery - New Hanover are part of our team to provide services and support.

The Level III NICU at Betty H. Cameron Women’s & Children’s Hospital provides round-the-clock care if your baby needs extra support following delivery. The expert staff is available to help care for your newborn while providing resources to support you and your family.

Breastfeeding and Chestfeeding Support

We offer ongoing, free breastfeeding and chestfeeding support for our new moms. Through the Mother’s Milk Club, you can connect to an expert lactation consultant and other expecting or chestfeeding parents for free breastfeeding resources, support and strategies.
