About

Helping you live a healthier life.

Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center is located in north Mecklenburg County. We’ve been part of the Huntersville, University and Lake Norman communities since 2004, providing a local place to receive care and treatment to area residents. A full-service hospital, we offer a wide range of services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our advanced health services include maternity, pediatric and adult emergency services, surgery, cardiovascular, cancer care and more.

Huntersville Medical Center is also the primary residency training site for the Novant Health Family Medicine Residency program, established in 2016. Our esteemed physicians train residents in all clinical areas of the institution over a three-year accredited program.

Serving your community since 2004

Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center opened its doors in 2004 and has been growing ever since to support the needs of our community. The newest upgrade (2022) is a 5,000 square-foot children’s emergency services center with nine private treatment rooms, a triage room, advanced medical equipment specifically designed to treat children, a treatment room for minor emergencies and sleep chairs for late-night emergencies. This child-friendly emergency services space was made possible by a $2.4 million investment from the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation.
