If your provider has set wellness goals for you — losing weight, managing high blood pressure or other conditions, etc. — you can use MyChart’s Goals feature to track your progress. The Goals feature charts completed goals over time to show you exactly how you’re doing on your journey to wellness.

Access the Goals tool by logging into your MyChart account and navigating to your “Plan of Care” under the “Health” tab. If you don’t have any goals set, talk to your provider about leveraging this powerful tool for your health.

Test results

With MyChart, you can view test results as soon as they become available, rather than waiting for a phone call or letter from your physician. To view test results, go to Health > Test Results. Select a test to see more information about it, such as the standard range for the result and any additional comments your provider may have entered about the result.

Your test results are released to your MyChart account after your physician has reviewed them. This is generally within one to 12 days.

Your provider is able to determine what types of test results can be accessed through MyChart. Tests of a sensitive nature are not released to MyChart.

Contact your care team

Send a message, get online care and treatment plans, talk face-to face over video or arrange to follow up with a doctor in person, depending on the level of care you need.

You can read any messages sent to you by your doctor or other clinic staff by going to your Inbox (Messaging > Message Center). If you're looking for a specific message, enter key words in the search field on the Inbox page. If you have a nonurgent medical question, you can send a secure message to your doctor.

Get help for a minor illness from home by talking with your doctor or another Novant Health provider during a video visit.

Describe your symptoms and medical history in an e-visit using on our comprehensive electronic questionnaire. A Novant Health provider will receive it and use it to evaluate your condition.
