Novant Health is now accepting volunteer applications from anyone who is fully vaccinated and at least 14 years old. Volunteers will support various non-clinical tasks in our acute care facilities, clinics and ambulatory surgery centers.

Those who have not volunteered at a Novant Health facility can begin the process by completing an application below.

We appreciate your interest in volunteering with us and wish to keep you updated as we continue to monitor the prevalence of COVID-19 in our community.  Your safety and the safety of our patients, loved ones and team members is our priority.

If you are a previous volunteer and interested in returning to volunteer, please contact your Volunteer Services department to inquire about the possibility of current, available positions.  Volunteers must have completed their COVID vaccination(s).

If you’re interested in performing valuable community service in a healthcare environment, please consider joining the NHBMC volunteers who play a vital role helping others.

Our volunteers provide community service appreciated by everyone they encounter as well as the opportunity to enjoy camaraderie with others who share a similar interest in serving people in a healthcare setting.

As a new volunteer you will receive training before you begin to volunteer so no experience is required.

Do you enjoy quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting and would like to donate your creations to the patients at NHBMC? We accept donations of teddy bears or stuffed animals, baby quilts or blankets, adult lap blankets, prayer shawls, children’s gowns, etc. Please contact us at the number below for more information.
