The medical assistant getting me ready for the doctor could have been a bit more friendly. My feelings are someone in that position sets the tone for expectations of your visit many times…especially if it’s your first visit. Otherwise, she carried out her duties well, as far as I could tell.

This was the first time meeting this Doctor. He seemed very knoledgeable and had a very good disposion.

The nurse that took my vitals and started my appointment didn’t speak to me other than to call my name until after we were in the exam room. I said good morning twice and got no response. That made me feel uncomfortable and not very welcomed or secure with the situation. Once inside the room, she was a little more personable. Not sure of the circumstances, but it made for a strange start to the appointment. Dr. Laughey, however, was extremely personable and very reassuring with his communication skills. He listened, explained and made sure I felt comfortable with the course of action he was recommending. Overall, this was a great experience and I feel good about the care I received.
