This office functions like a well oiled machine. Dr Lakkakula was ON TIME, cheerful, professional, educational, and best of all - he didn't rush out of the room! He stayed and answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable in his confidence that he was going to get to the bottom of my issue. I feel comfortable with him as my heart doctor. I already referred my husband here for a 4th opinion on his own issues. We were both very impressed with Dr Lakkakula and trust him with the most vital organ in our bodies. I'm very thankful to Novant.

This was my initial appt with Dr. Lakkakula, and had been referred to him since I did not have a Cardiologist; further it appears I need to see one now. This meeting went well and Dr. Lakkakula appears to be very qualified to provide the expert medical care for my heart.

Was very impressed with Dr. Lakkakula. He listened and explained my recent tests, showing my results on the computer. He answered my questions we discussed my care. He gets a 10. The reception area was pleasant and staff were friendly at check in. I was early for the appointment but wait time was just about 7 minutes.Support staff were friendly and competent. This is a great office.

He was warm, Caring and spoke in a way that was easy to understand. He listened to my questions and concerns and answered me without making me feel uncomfortable for asking the questions! Truly one of the best Doctors I’ve seen at Novant, and I’ve seen a lot of them!!!

What a wonderful doctor! I am recommending Dr. Vamsee Lakkakula to my family members. His bedside manner reminded me of how kind and attentive doctors used to be. I wasn't rushed or made to feel like a number. My concerns were acknowledged and addressed and he took the time to explain what may be happening and what our next course of action should be. He encouraged me to be an active participant in my health-care and he didn't speak to me with the condescending tone that way too many doctors have. I left trusting he was concerned and ready to help me get better.
