I had an excellent experience at my annual physical. Dr. Chakrabarty was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen carefully to my questions without making me feel rushed. His medical assistant was equally wonderful-kind, attentive, and very professional. Together they made what can sometimes feel like a routine appointment feel comfortable and reassuring. I truly appreciate the level of care and respect shown.

Chakrabarty listened carefully to my issues and spent a lot of time asking pertinent questions as to my issues with the flu and also with some pain in my hip. He spent I believe more than 15 minutes with me. I thought his care was impressive.

My wife was also present as she will need a new primary in the near future. Basically we have been raving about this Doctor. He had actually prepared for our visit by reviewing whatever information he had available about my history. He started by basically chatting obviously trying to learn a few more of the intangibles about my history. As he said, he doesn't know what he doesn't know. We were impressed with him reviewing with us what he knew and had learned about me, including where I stood with any health issues and where I stood with upcoming specialists, medications etc. Basically he seemed the epitome of what you would think a Primary Care Physician should be like. And being 71 we have both seen quite a few. In recent years, I would summarize our primaries as doctors that just renew our prescriptions and give us the required Medicare exams. It's pretty sad.
