I did not have any personal role models in medicine growing up, but I did have the operating room scenes on the TV show MASH. Watching the lead characters on that series save lives week after week sparked my curiosity about medicine. Thank goodness I have always enjoyed a challenge and was always near the top of my class, and those qualities helped me in my quest to become a doctor.

I like Dr. Bodek. He is very low key, listens, answers questions and has a great bedside manner.

I felt he was going through the motions and not really listening to me. I was treated like my questions were not worthy of their time. Over scheduled? Don't know but my Army physicals were more personal.

Dr. Bodek has a straightforward approach, stays focused, but is nice, professional and is receptive answering any and all questions, even handwritten ones I bring / brought in with me. He sometimes explains things a bit over my head, but I still leave with a basic understanding of what happened, what's going and what's next. I'm comfortable with him being my Cardiologist.
