Growing up, I watched my dad serve his community as a pastor and my mom care for others as a nurse. Seeing them help people in their own ways shaped what I wanted to do with my life. During medical training, I found myself drawn to many areas of medicine, but family medicine stood out because it allows me to care for people of all ages and walks of life.
