The wait was extremely long. Now , had I been late by 10-15 minutes they would cancel my appointment. There's no reason a 9am appointment should be there 15 minutes early and then wait 1 hour. No excuse .

The staff and providers are always so attentive. Seamless experience from check-in to departure. Dr. Chalk is top tier! Thank you.

It took 40 minutes to see the doctor. When she came in she apologized for the wait and explained that it was due to another patient showing up late and squeezing them in. It was frustrating that I showed up on time but had to wait because someone else didn't. I get that it happens but that explanation didn't make me feel better.

The Ma who check my vitals was amazing!!!

My only complaint was at checkout. There were 4 staff members behind the desk talking and socializing. They saw me standing at the counter and ignored me and kept talking for 7 minutes before even speaking to me. I know it was at least 7 minutes because after waiting a bit I started watching the clock. That part was very disappointing. My doctor however, did a great job and made me feel listened to and cared for

Dr Chalk is professional and personable. She always takes time to listen and understand my concerns while educating me on her plan for care. The staff at Coastal Obgyn is always warm and welcoming. Venus, her nurse, has a contagious energy and I look forward to when she greets me in the waiting room. I would not see any other doctor, Dr Chalk really is the best! I am thankful she is on my care team.

My appointment was at 10:15, I showed up at 9:30 and had to wait until 10:50. The nurse said she thought I was waiting on an ultrasound for some reason and so she didn't call me back sooner. So I waited 1 hour 15 minutes for no reason.

Everyone was very professional and friendly. I felt well taken care of. Took time to listen and answer all of my questions.

Dr. Chalk is absolutely the most amazing doctor. She makes you feel comfortable, cared about, and is extremely thorough in discussing any issues and answering questions. She is genuinely concerned and kind hearted. It is obvious that she loves her job and strives to be her best for the patients. Her assistant was wonderful as well. The ladies at the front desk for check-in and check-out were awesome!

I have always had a good experience with my annual appointment. DrChalk is the best!

I had to make a follow up appointment for 3 weeks but told the receptionist that I would call when I got home to check my calendar. I called and left a message and still have not received a call back from the office.

Front desk / check in person wasn't friendly. Monotone, Not personable. Also I had to ask the person who had just checked in to give me privacy while checking in so maybe clearer Instructions what to do once checked in.

I was seen right away after I checked in.

My daughter and I are both first time patients and new to the area. This was a nervous time for both of us as she has Down Syndrome and acclimates with caution. From the moment we walked through the glass doors, met the adorable receptionist to nurse Tara and nurse Lisa the kindness and comfortability we felt was like no other in all the years we've gone to any medical practice (and we only went to the best in Virginia)! Everyone greeted my daughter (age 23) with open arms, smiles and patience. Dr Chalk, well I just don't have the words. She is simply amazing. Professional, courteous, compassionate, knowledgeable and sympathetic....well the list can go on. Hands down just an amazing physician and human! How do you thank these people for leaving such a mark on your heart?! I am over the moon thrilled to be a patient here and equally comfortable and relieved to be bringing our special daughter to this practice as well! Thank you everyone - never change your approach with patients as you've left a huge impact on us!

Dr Chalk is the type of provider I have been hoping for. This type of care has been hard to find in the New Hanover area. She is warm, personable and gave the most comprehensive exam I have had in a long time!!! She worked me in and came in early to help me get an appointment that suited my schedule. From my encounter with the desk staff, medical personnel checking me in, and the MD visit, it was all great!!

Dr Chalk is so patient and thorough. I left Glen Meade to follow her here. She is the absolute best doctor/ OBGYN I've ever had!
