Growing up just outside of Seattle, I developed a passion for both medicine and children at an early age. I was known as the neighborhood babysitter, and as soon as I could drive, I coached gymnastics. My admiration for my own doctor growing up sparked my interest in medicine, and from the age of 11, I knew I wanted to become a pediatrician.
