I have always like the combination of science and working with people. Medicine is one of the few careers where science becomes so personal, so that is why medicine was a logical career choice for me. I see myself as a teammate along with my patients and their families. I feel strongly about a family's input in a patient's medical care, and I actively work to make family members and other caregivers part of the process of both staying healthy and executing any needed treatment plan.
