I have already recommended Dr. Shanguma to a friend today. I told her she was a great doctor and very smart. Very nice also!!!

She was very clinical, it seemed like she had a list of questions that she needed to get through and was in a hurry to get to the last question.

We both were on the same page

Dr. Shangula thoroughly read my mother's chart, then proceeded to give my mother commands expecting her to respond instantly. She made comments about my mom needs to make more effort to do things independently. However it was the very first time she seen her. She didn't attempt a conversation with my mom. She didn't even ask me about her daily routines. I believe Shangula is book smart but lacks compassion, understanding, and common sense. I was so glad when she said she didn't need to see my mom again. We the patients should be able to interview physicians before we wait several months to be seen and disappointed by the service we receive.

I asked questions that were not directly answered even when asked a second time or rephrased. It did not seem like the doctor familiarized herself with my issue or records prior to the visit and much of the time was answering questions that were already in my medical record. She stated she wanted to see me back in December but would likely have no appointments available. It seems odd that you cannot be seen within the timeframe suggested by a doctor and everyone in the office seems ok with that including the doctor.
