My path to medicine was shaped early. A family member in the field showed me firsthand what a career in healthcare could mean. Before becoming a clinician, I worked in fire and emergency medical services, where my training had a strong concentration in cardiac care. That experience on the front lines gave me a deep respect for the urgency of patient needs and the importance of staying calm under pressure.
