Originally from Edmond, OK, Dr. Onwuchuruba has received the A.W. Diddle Award for Outstanding Resident Research and the AAGL Award for advancing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She has traveled to Guatemala to perform gynecologic surgery on women with advanced prolapse. She hopes to continue to use her education and skills to perform much needed procedures for women in need. Dr. Cheryl O listens to me and takes the time to chat even if it's for 2 minutes before the exam. That matters! She makes an invasive well woman exam less nerve wracking and more comfortable.
