As a child, I loved figure skating. Being on the ice made me so happy, but it also led to my share of injuries. I spent time seeing an orthopedic doctor, which helped me heal and exposed me to the power of medicine. I became fascinated by the field, and the way I could one day help people. That eventually led me to pursue medicine as a career.

Sara is the very best. I love everything about her. She takes such wonderful care of me. Her bedside manner is great and when she sees something that needs to be rechecked she always makes sure I come back and get it rechecked. I don't think that there is anything about her that I don't adore. I have MS and she is always on point. If she doesn't know the answer she makes sure I go to somebody that can find the answer. I don't know what I would do without her!
