Dec 2023I was disappointed in a comment made by my provider about a scar my 13 year old has from a traumatic break that resulted in surgery a year ago. She told my daughter “well hopefully that will go away by college” implying it looks too bad if it doesn’t. As a normal 13 year old girl that just isn’t the thing you say to boost any confidence. I felt it was inappropriate and disappointing to say the least.
