I cannot express how very helpful this appointment was! Wish it would have been recommended MUCH earlier, as Phil has been asking about controlling pain for weeks. Deborah was amazing at listening, redirecting Phil when he didn't answer everything, helping him understand palliative care, and helping us understand what the options were. This was absolutely a life changing appointment for Phil as it not only gave him hope, it gave him comfort, and honestly, his life back. (He is outside helping a neighbor right this minute- first time in 3 months!) While he will have another surgery on Friday, I feel he is going to face it better knowing he doesn't have to live in severe pain constantly. Thank you Deborah!!!
