New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) serves as the referral center for advanced medical care in southeastern North Carolina. Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune

Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune is a level III Trauma Center in Camp Lejeune, NC, northeast of New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Its core facility hosts inpatient units, primary care, and specialty care. In addition, seven outlying Branch Medical Clinics, Intrepid Spirit, and the core facility provide support for all Navy and Marine Corps garrison and operational commands.
