Curriculum

NHRMC is a very large, 798 bed Level II Trauma Center hospital that serves the 7 county region of Southeastern North Carolina. Residents gain tremendous clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient medicine, with robust subspecialty experiences. The experience is so uniquely positive that many of our graduates have stayed on as physicians in our system. Our schedule is divided into 26 - 2 week blocks. We have found changing every 2 weeks facilitates wellness.
