Medical Student Rotations

The General Surgery Residency Department at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center - University of North Carolina School of Medicine Wilmington Campus welcomes third and fourth-year medical students on a permanent year-round basis. Rotations for third-year medical students are eight weeks and rotations for fourth-year medical students are four weeks.

UNC-SOM students must apply for the Wilmington Program through the main campus in Chapel Hill for rotations at New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC).
