Interpreter services

Novant Health Matthews Medical Center's interpreter services helps patients and their family members who have special communication needs. Foreign-language interpreters are available for individuals who are limited English proficient. Free sign language and oral interpreters, TTYs and other services are available to deaf and hard-of-hearing persons.

Tobacco-free campus

Novant Health Matthews Medical Center is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking is prohibited at all locations on campus, including parking structures, sidewalks and inside vehicles that are parked or driving through campus. This is part of our commitment to provide our patients, visitors and employees with a healthy environment.
