Our services
Novant Health Waverly Pediatrics & Primary Care offers complete primary medical care to patients of all ages. Members of our care team focus on pediatrics, internal medicine and family medicine, giving you access to providers who serve patients of all ages from one convenient location. We encourage our patients to see us regularly for preventive care. This allows your provider to get to know you and your health history, and to identify small problems before they become larger concerns. These visits are also excellent opportunities for you to develop relationships with your care team.
Services
- On-site lab services, including blood work, rapid strep test, as well as testing for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and COVID-19 nasal swab test (polymerase chain reaction, or PCR)
- Same-day and next-day sick visits
- After-hours nurse triage
- Immunizations and vaccinations, including flu shots
- Treatment of illness and minor injuries
- Virtual visits
Family Medicine
- Annual physicals (including Medicare annual wellness physicals)
- School, sports and employment physicals
- Women’s care, including gynecologic exams, Pap tests, contraception (including Nexplanon) and post-menopausal care
- Geriatric care
- Minor procedures such as injections and removal of wart and skin tags
- Management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD
