Novant Health Urology – Wisteria Drive gives you access to advanced diagnostic tools as well as an array of treatment options for common and complex urologic conditions. • Incontinence (difficulty controlling the flow of urine)

• Frequent urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH; enlargement of the prostate gland in men, which can block the flow of urine)

• Malignancies (cancers) of the genitourinary tract

Diagnostic and treatment procedures our providers offer include:

• Cystoscopy (to assess bladder symptoms; an in-office procedure that involves inserting a small scope into the bladder)
• Urodynamic evaluation (to assess bladder function and urine flow, and determine possible treatments)
• Prostate ultrasound and biopsy (to test for prostate cancer)
• PSA (prostate-specific antigen) screening (a blood test to detect elevated levels of the hormone)
• Removal of bladder tumors or lesions (can be completed in our office using a cystoscope, or with a Transurethral Resection Bladder Tumor (TRBT) procedure at a surgical facility)
• Hydrocelectomy (an outpatient procedure to drain fluid and remove the sac from around the testicles)
• No-scalpel vasectomy (a procedure to cut and seal the tube that carries sperm from each testicle; completed in our office under local anesthesia)
• Removal of bladder lesions
