- Voiding dysfunction (when the bladder is unable to empty completely; sometimes marked by frequent urges to urinate)

- Enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia, or BPH; growth of the male reproductive gland that makes the fluid that carries sperm; can lead to an inability to urinate, incontinence, painful urination or a sudden urge to urinate)
