The providers at Novant Health Pilot Mountain Medical Care are dedicated to family medicine, which means family is the central unit of care. We work to know you not just as a patient, but as a person. We want to understand the activities that you enjoy, and the responsibilities that fill your days. We aim to help you stay as healthy and active as possible, and to be there to help should you or a family member become sick.

- Well-child checkups
- Hearing and vision screenings
- School and sports physicals
- Vaccines
- Annual physicals
- Women’s care including help with gynecologic problems, Pap tests and pelvic exams
- Prostate exams
- Splinting of uncomplicated fractures and sprains
- Laceration repair
- Lab tests including blood draws and urinalysis
- Minor surgical procedures including removal of warts, moles, skin cancer and cysts
- Tympanometry (used to assess the function of the eardrum and middle ear)
- Spirometry (lung function testing)
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs; to assess heart function)
- Injection therapy
- X-rays
