Novant Health New Hanover Primary Care – Autumn Hall offers complete primary care for patients ages 6 months and older. We want to keep you as healthy as possible, and help you feel better quickly should you become sick or injured. We encourage you to establish a relationship with a provider in our clinic before you urgently need care so we can get to know you and your health history.
Our services include:
- Same-day and next-day sick visits
- Annual physicals
- Childhood checkups
- Vaccinations and immunizations, including the annual flu shot
- Women’s health services including Pap tests, and pelvic and breast exams
- Men’s health services including prostate cancer screenings (PSA tests)
- School, camp and sports physicals
- Workers’ compensation evaluations (to assess workplace injuries)
- Weight control counseling
- Management of chronic conditions including arthritis, asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol
- Joint injections
- Minor surgical procedures such as removal of ingrown toenails or skin lesions, stitches for wounds, and cryotherapy to freeze off warts or growths
- Sports medicine for sports injuries or to prevent future injuries
We offer diagnostic tests including:
- Blood and urine lab tests
- Allergy testing
- CT scans (noninvasive test used to examine structures in the body)
- Spirometry
- Skin biopsy tests
- X-rays
Additional services
Novant Health Express Care shares our location, we are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. Should you need after-hours or weekend care for an illness or injury including beach-related issues (jellyfish stings, sunburn or heat exposure), you can get that care in our location. You can also receive certain physicals on a first-come, first-served basis.
We are available without an appointment to care for illnesses and injuries including:
- Same-day sick visits, treating of minor illnesses
- Virtual visits
- Drive up testing
- Some vaccinations and immunizations, including the annual flu shot
- TB screening
- School, camp and sports physicals
- Workers’ compensation evaluations (to assess workplace injuries)
- Minor surgical procedures such as removal of ingrown toenails or skin lesions, stitches for wounds, and cryotherapy to freeze off warts or growths
- Sports medicine for sports injuries or to prevent future injuries
- IV hydration
