Novant Health Maplewood Family Medicine provides family medicine for patients of all ages in Winston-Salem. Along with routine visits and long-term health management, our clinic offers diagnostic testing and treatment for several concerns that might otherwise require an additional appointment. 

Same-day and next-day appointments are available when possible. Established patients can also access weekend sick care.

Weekend sick care for established patients 

Established patients can contact the clinic about weekend sick appointments. This provides another option for receiving timely care from a family medicine team with access to your existing health information. 

Same-day and next-day weekday visits may also be available for illnesses and minor injuries. 

In-office testing, minor procedures and fracture care 

Maplewood Family Medicine can evaluate and treat minor fractures, perform selected minor surgical procedures and address certain skin conditions in the office. 

Diagnostic services include X-rays, blood draws, urinalysis, throat cultures, electrocardiograms, heart monitoring, blood-pressure monitoring, spirometry, audiograms and pediatric hearing and vision screenings.
