Our services
The providers at Novant Health Infectious Disease Specialists – Winston-Salem are dedicated to preventing and treating communicable diseases present both at home and abroad. If you have an infection linked to a virus, fungus or bacteria, our team of providers will help diagnose your illness and determine the best treatment plan for you.
Our providers are also here for you before, during and after any overseas travel. Before your trip, you can schedule an appointment with us to review your itinerary and determine what vaccinations or other precautions should be taken before your travel. While you are abroad, you will have access to your care team both by phone and through MyChart. They can help you determine whether to seek care should you become sick, and will be aware of any medical problems that need to be handled upon your return. And if you do come home ill, or a sickness develops after you are home, your providers will be able to quickly address your illness.
