Novant Health Forsyth Internal Medicine brings primary care services for adults all under one roof. Our providers encourage preventive visits as opportunities to get to know patients as well as to identify small problems before they become larger concerns. We also work to see you quickly if you are sick or injured so you can begin to feel better quickly. And, our more specialized services including a wide range of diagnostic testing will help your provider to investigate and address most common problems without delay.

Our services include:

• Same-day and next-day sick patient appointments
• Annual physicals
• Care for chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol, allergies and cardiac conditions
• Immunizations including flu shots for established patients
• Sports and work physicals
• Routine gynecologic care including Pap tests, pelvic exams and post-menopause care
• Contraceptive assistance
• Electrocardiograms (EKGs; used to assess heart function)
• Pulmonary function tests (used to measure lung function)
• X-rays
• On-site lab services including throat cultures, rapid strep tests, urinalysis and routine blood tests)
