If you are living with diabetes, the providers at Novant Health Diabetes Management – Shorefair are here to help you live as healthy a life as possible. We understand how difficult it is to keep blood sugar in check, even with sticking to diet and exercise plans. That’s why we focus on medicinal management of diabetes for patients with type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes (diabetes during pregnancy). We offer:

• Medication titration (managing insulin and other medications to achieve the A1C levels right for you)
• Assistance to patients starting insulin for the first time
• Setup and maintenance of continuous glucose monitors (CGM)
• Interpretation of CGM data

Additional services

Our patients have access to endocrinologists as well as the Novant Health Diabetes & Nutrition clinic. This clinic offers a diabetes education program and is covered by many insurance plans, including Medicare.
