Your surgical team will share all the information you need to prepare for surgery, including the hospital or surgery center location where your procedure will be performed.

What to expect: A personalized surgical consultation

We want you to feel empowered and heard, so you're comfortable from the start. If your physician recommends surgery as a part of your treatment plan, you'll meet with a surgeon who will connect you to one of Novant Health’s surgical navigation clinics for a consultation.

Your personalized consultation may be provided remotely or in person. During this visit you'll meet your surgical team and get answers to your questions, including what to expect, in understandable language. You also will undergo any necessary pre-surgery preparations so you feel ready for your procedure.
