And, we join another elite group of healthcare systems such as Johns Hopkins, Kaiser Foundation and Mayo Clinic as one of four systems in the country that have two certified comprehensive stroke centers.

Certification was first offered in 2012 by The Joint Commission, an independent healthcare accrediting body, and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. The Joint Commission recognizes comprehensive stroke centers for providing the highest level of care for stroke.

Our neurosciences team also will manage your care if you need rehabilitation to get you back to the activities you enjoy after a stroke. Once you’re back at home, you can continue your recovery through outpatient services, if necessary.
