To ensure you can get the care you need, Novant Health participates in a wide range of health plans and accepts most major insurance providers; however, it is important that you contact your insurance provider before receiving treatment to verify that you have full coverage. You should also determine your individual plan requirements regarding referrals, authorizations and co-pay/deductible amounts.

Workers compensation
Novant Health medical group urgent care and some orthopedic locations accept many workers compensation insurance carriers, and will bill your employer's carrier after treatment of your on-the-job injury.
Some workers compensation insurance carriers provide "designated" physician and hospital networks for the treatment of work-related injuries. Your employer should let you know if these designated workers compensation networks pertain to you.
