Novant Health Yadkin Medical Associates cares for patients of all ages, from birth through adulthood. Our providers are devoted to family medicine. They work to learn about you not just as a patient, but as a member of your family and your community. Our team looks for ways you and your family members can help each other stay healthy. And should illness strike, our providers can help every member of your family feel better as quickly as possible.
Our services include:
- Acute care visits
- Annual physicals
- Newborn care
- Well-child checkups
- Childhood vaccines
- Flu shots
- School and sports physicals
- Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals (needed to obtain a commercial driver’s license)
- Gynecologic care including Pap tests, pelvic exams and contraception (birth control)
- Prenatal care
- Dermatologic (skin) care
- Care for minor fractures and wounds
- Blood and urine lab tests
- Throat cultures
- Audiograms (to assess hearing)
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Join Injections (for joint pain)
- Spirometry/ pulmonary function testing (to assess lung function)
- Holter monitoring (to monitor the function of the heart over a period of time)
We offer acute care clinic seven days per week. You may be seen for minor illnesses or injuries such as colds, flu, sore throat, earaches, urinary symptoms, and minor sprains or strains. Please call our office to schedule a same day appointment or use MyChart to schedule your own appointment.
Monday to Friday 7 am to 12:30 pm, 2pm to 6:30 pm
Saturday & Sunday 7 am to 11:30 am, 1 pm to 4:30pm
