Minimally invasive surgery
Advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques allow us to perform some surgeries through the abdomen using very small incisions. We perform these minimally-invasive surgeries to treat gallbladder disease, appendicitis, hernias and heartburn, as well as diseases of the colon and spleen. Biopsies can also sometimes be performed using the minimally-invasive technique as well.
From benign breast disease to breast cancer, the physicians at Novant Health Salisbury Surgical Associates provide a full range of the most up to date methods of diagnosis and treatment of breast abnormalities.
We are trained to evaluate and treat all varieties of benign breast disorders including cysts and fibrocystic changes, most of which can be treated in the office. If you have any concern about your breast or an abnormal mammogram, we would be glad to evaluate and appropriately treat you. Mammograms and self-breast exams are crucial to early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
