Growing up in a small country town just outside of Richmond, Va., I was raised by a strong village of family and friends who supported my every step. I'm the first physician in my family, though I come from a long line of educators. My mother is a social worker and watching her shaped how I see people: not just for their circumstances, but for who they are. It was witnessing my grandfather navigate the healthcare system near the end of his life, though, that set me on this path.

Dr Chambliss reviews my file prior to our visit and is fully up to date on any test results and specialist care. She is engaged in discussing what follows up visits and testing I have scheduled or need to schedule with her and with specialists. She answers any questions I have regarding medication I currently take or any changes I might want to make to address current needs. She is focused on me and whatever challenges or concerns might currently be experiencing. It is extremely easy to discuss things with her and she makes me feel comfortable and secure in the care I am receiving.

I felt she was ready to discuss medical concerns and refer me accordingly based on the info me snd her assistant provided. We parted with a plan and an expected follow up date and to return if needed to her or the urgent care GREAT VISIT!
