Dr Turk was amazing. He explained what was going on in simple terms and outlined my treatment plan in a way I felt included and comfortable. His demeanor was professional and caring. Simply put, he was fantastic.

I appreciate Dr. Turk, because he has the best reputation in Charlotte (word of mouth and online). Novant is certainly lucky to have him. He was respectful, professional and very nice. He also seemed to take my concerns and goals more seriously. He then took extra time after our appointment to do research on the most recent evidence-based studies and National Care guidelines to provide the most informed decision. He tailored the care to my particular situation, test results and diagnosis, instead of giving me a blanket recommendation! The care was more personalized as opposed to the more generic care that one might receive from other doctors. I realize that most doctors won't take time out of their day to do this, and it is more work on him. I really appreciate him, and I have made the switch over to him ( I am coming from another surgeon). Novant has a gem in Dr. Turk. He is one of two of the best doctors I've seen under the Novant Group, and I have been under care with Novant since 1999! Novant has a wonderful gem in Dr. Turk.
