I'm a first-generation college graduate and the first physician in my family. I wanted to be an ob-gyn because the field allows me to take care of women throughout every stage of their lives.

Obstetrics is special because pregnancy and childbirth are among the most memorable and special times in a woman's life. Being there for those times is a real privilege. And gynecology allows me to solve problems. Working in partnership with my patients, there's virtually no concern - be it bleeding, pain...
