2023 Interview Dates:
Our program will be conducting all interviews virtually, as advised by our governing bodies. We will be participating in Supplemental ERAS application. Our goal is to ensure we offer interviews to candidates interested in a strong community program with university affiliations. We will be making this supplement optional for candidates and hope it allows those with strong interest to indicate so. Second look can be arranged to help candidates make their decision for a program. It will not involve an interview or change your position on our rank list.

Signaling Tips:

• There is no need to signal us if you completed a Acting Intership with us.
• Remember sending more than one token to a program does not help - we will only see it as one.

• NHRMC offers an internal medicine residency experience where every faculty physician knows your name and what's unique about you.
  
• All candidates must apply through ERAS.
• Applications are accepted through November 30, 2023.
• Orientation will begin on June 17, 2024.
• We do not accept or sponsor any visas. IMG’s who are permanent residents and US. citizens are welcome to apply.
• The first attempt minimum USMLE score is 200; the average minimum score is 220.
• The first attempt minimum COMLEX score is 450; the average minimum score is 500.
• Prior to ranking (not applying) Steps 1, 2CK and 2CS must be complete.
• We would prefer graduation from medical school be within the past 5 years.
• The interview season begins November 2 and ends January 25.
• ECFMG certificates, when appropriate, must be current prior to licensure (not application).
• Prior US clinical experience in Internal Medicine is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of three letters of recommendation are required.
• NHRMC does not offer any Internal Medicine Fellowships.
